Built Complete was commissioned by KAJA Studio to complete an internal fit-out of the MCO offices located on the 37th floor of the Governor Phillip Tower in Sydney's CBD. The outcome is a successful combination of a modern working environment and a minimalistic art gallery to display the clients extensive art collection.  Works started with the dark, wood paneled entrance which was designed to disorientate and heighten the senses as you enter through to the high-end reception area.

The Art Gallery/Meeting Room is enclosed in designer CFC board with brass trim wrapping around the mid-section and black metal fixtures including over-sized door handles. Inside, the ceiling is clad in timber, bringing warmth to the industrial space whilst personality is injected through the bright, bold artworks.

With central elevators, the open office space is surrounded edge to edge windows which provide the employees with a spectacular panoramic view of Sydney Harbour - not a bad outlook for the week at work! The modern industrial design continues through to the back of house break-out areas including the kitchen and seating. Black walls are softened with timber tables and stools with black metal bindings.

Creating a place of work where functionality meets design.

COMMERCIAL / ST GEORGE BANK

Located in Kogarah, the St George Bank Head Building required a total refurbishment. Working with Lend Lease, we were given the task of the front entrance/foyer, the 3rd and 4th floor offices as well as the entire roof-top. We were one of many contractors employed on this site and our successful outcome shows our ability to work well with other contractors.

The open roof-top provides employees with spaces to play, exercise and socialise with an aim to increase a sense of well-being and happiness at the workplace.

For exercise, employees have the choice of either teaming up for a game of basketball on the full-sized, enclosed court or to do some laps around the perimeter running track.

The seating areas provide plenty of spaces for socialising ranging from bar style benches, tables and stools through to private outdoor rooms constructed with natural timber and steel elements.

The entire roof-top is landscaped with a range of greenery including deciduous trees that will provide shade throughout the warmer months and a beautiful change of colour through Autumn. This break-out area provides space and light, a place to relax and enjoy.

St George Lockers

The 3rd floor common area includes employee lockers with striking purple features and a central meeting table. To bring the outdoors in, designers Oculus used a range of indoor plants including peace lilies which line the top of the lockers. Private conference rooms with glass paneling allow for privacy whilst allowing in light and a sense of space.

Creating an inspiring space to work and play.
